What is Brokk Demolition?

Do you get to use robots when you go to work every day? The staff of KC Coring and Cutting has over 20 remote-controlled demolition robots at their disposal. Hopefully, our website will be able to withstand the flood of applicants we receive when this tidbit gets out to the public. We know working with demolition robots sounds cool, but our Brokk equipment is complex to use and takes a highly skilled person to operate, so don’t quit your day job.

The Brokk is an electrically-powered machine that is small enough to fit in elevators, maneuverable enough to climb stairs, and strong enough to remove large areas on concrete. The device is as cool as it sounds.

On top of that, the Brokk can be used in areas that would be hazardous for other types of equipment. Not only can it be used in spaces where fumes can’t be present, but it can also be used in areas where people shouldn’t be present as well since it can be operated remotely. It also has front and rear outriggers that make it stable to use in uneven situations.

Amazingly, even though the Brokk is versatile and stable, it is extremely powerful. It can dig, break, crush, and remove large materials.

The remote control system allows the Brokk to rotate 360 degrees. It can be controlled with extreme accuracy by a skilled operator.

As we mentioned, the Brokk runs off of electricity. We can power it off the generators on our trucks, or it can be wired with a standard 460V three-phase pigtail. This can be up to 300 feet away from the job site. Since it runs off of electricity, the Brokk is the ideal piece of equipment to be used in enclosed spaces.

We want to make sure you understand that we at KC Coring and Cutting takes safety very seriously. In fact, we have both a full-time Safety Director and Director of Risk Control on staff. These individuals are always thinking three steps ahead of what could go wrong, and they make sure that everyone present on the job site is safe and secure.

We also train our operators very well. They are OSHA and TWIC certified. Our TRIR is below the industry average. Our employees are even trained in CPR. We are proud of our safety record.

Does this sound like the perfect piece of equipment for your complicated demolition job? KC Coring and Cutting would love to help you with your project. We are a locally-owned and operated company. We can help you with your large or small demolition project in the Kansas City area. Check out our customer reviews. We are proud of the work we have done, and our feedback shows it.
