Even a layperson understands that it takes special equipment and skill to cut through concrete. The technicians at KC Coring and Cutting have both the equipment and skills necessary to complete any concrete-cutting project of any size and scope.

Today, we are going to teach you about one of the services we offer — concrete core drilling.

What is concrete core drilling?
Core drilling is the process of creating a hole through concrete. Even though cutting through concrete sounds complicated enough, at KC Coring and Cutting, our technicians are able to drill holes of precise diameters and lengths.

KC Coring and Cutting has a core drill that allows us to drill holes to any depth that are a quarter-inch to 66 inches in diameter. We can also create access to both sides of the hole using our specialized equipment.

Why do you need concrete core drilling?
There are a variety of reasons why you may need to hire someone for concrete core drilling.

Perhaps you need to create holes for a construction or renovation project. The precise-cut holes may be used for plumbing, heating and cooling systems, sprinkler systems, or electrical systems. Our technicians use the best equipment that allows them to make clean cuts through the concrete.

There may be another reason you need to punch a hole through concrete to reach whatever surface is underneath the slab. We understand that sometimes you don’t know what is mixed in with the concrete or underneath the surface. We are ready to take on any material that we encounter.

You also may need to hire KC Coring and Cutting to extract a sample. Our core drills will remove some of the concrete that has been cut for analysis and testing. Talk with our technician about how wide of a core you need to extract.

No matter your core-drilling needs, KC Coring and Cutting can help with the job. We can complete projects inside or outside structures. We can work above or below the ground. We can even use our coring drill under the surface of the water.

Who should you turn to for core drilling in Kansas City?
You have a few options to choose from for core drilling in Kansas City, but we think you should reach out to KC Coring and Cutting for your core drilling needs. Here’s why.
